Well that was what Amazon did, and just finalized. Amazon can now stream the entire Bond catalog and future projects exclusively on Amazon Prime. Now, this doesn’t come as a big surprise since the competition with the streaming giants is fierce, with Disney owning both Marvel and Star Wars franchises, and Netflix holding out on its own quite well for years.
Now Amazon has just acquired a huge library of movies and TV shows including the Adams Family and the recently released House of Gucci. MGM is also the studio behind many Oscar winners, such as Silence of the Lambs, Raging Bull, Thelma & Louise, 12 Angry Men, and Poltergeist.
So who knows what the future for the Next Bond project gonna be, maybe the next James Bond will be Jeff Bezos himself. Only time will tell.
