Vanya who’s potrayed by Elliot Page, will come out as a transgender in the third season of The Umbrella Academy according to show’s creator Gerard Way. Vanya’s new name will be Viktor Hargreeves going forward.
Page tweeted a picture of himself as Viktor on his personal Twitter account which Netflix quote-tweeted and added, “Welcome to the family, Viktor — we’re so happy you’re here.”
